    Fabulous

It was a beautiful building and stunning grounds

When I booked I assumed the hotel rooms were in the pictured building not 500 metres down the road.I had 2 rooms booked 1 in each building

    Superb

Very relaxing. The room was spacious, luxurious and had the all facilities you would expect. The staff were very attentive and polite.

The breakfast on the Sunday morning was not a good experience. Buffet food was cold and not all stated options were available. Much better on the Monday.

i booked for my 21st wedding anniversary as a surprise for my wife. The entire weekend was absolutely brilliant, outstanding historic building, great facilities, wonderful staff, fab food, we enjoyed the spa too. We will recommend to freinds and return without doubt.

Every aspect was ideal for the peaceful, luxurious and celebratory stay for which we were looking.

The management of the restaurant seemed to leave something to be desired. Whilst the staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous, many of them appeared to be wandering around aimlessly as if they did not know what they were supposed to be doing. Further, there must surely be something to be said for guests to be allocated tables for the duration of their stay, rather that allocated haphazardly at each meal.

The restaurant in the hotel, The Wernher, was superb. The food was totally excellent. Worth every penny! The service was very good too. The hotel itself is beautiful , inside and outside. The grounds are lovely.

When i booked, i was given the impression that the room would have views of the grounds,as that was part of the room description. But we were given a room that was far away from the grounds and below the ground floor. But the room itself was gorgeous.

    Fabulous

We booked junior suite but were upgraded to a principal suite with 24 foot lounge with stunning views of the parkland and car park at the front of the mansion. The lounge was so cavernous that the two three seater sofas; dining table with 3 dining chairs; other easy chairs seemed to make the room sparsely furnished. Mattress gave excellent sleep in antique 4 poster bed; Gorgeous grounds to amble around; myriad lounges to sit and relax; Was slightly put off by previous reviews of the hotel which appear to refer to the bad service but on the contrary that was not our experience; at breakfast hot food arrived hot and promptly and we noticed other tables around us were served in a timely fashion. Food in Brasserie was piping hot

Could do with more overhead lights in the lounge as it seemed a bit dark at night; Food choice a bit limited. Both restaurants were fully booked or we could eat at the Brasserie at 9.30 pm which was too late so had to order from room service which had a limited menu. Toilet in the suite was so small you had to be a bit Houdini-ish to get in and out!

A very nice hotel, in an old manor that has been completely renovated, with a very nice and helpful staff.

We asked twice for a baby sitter in the room, but as it was weekend, both times there was no one available. Perhaps it would be a nice idea for such a hotel and that range of customers to become independent from the usual local network of babysitters (that is usually unavailable in the weekends), and to have some staff that can look after these services.

Excellent room, delicious food, attentive but not smarmy staff.

One or two potholes in the main drive, otherwise pretty near perfect!

Luton Hoo is a superb hotel The staff are excellent and very professional the buildings impressive and the dining rooms spectacular .. we did not play golf but we did think the course looked very boring ...the spa was wonderful and the rooms very comfortable and extremely spacious

We had a room in the coach house [ an ungrade not asked for but offered ! ] It was above the pro shop of the golf course and very noisy [ beware ]

From the long drive up to this most impressive mansion you get the feeling you are arriving somewhere special. Out front a small fleet of hotel owned london taxis shuttle guests down to the outbuildings housing the spa, gym and Adams Brasserie. Staff were friendly and each had a good knowledge of the estate. Covering 1,065 acres, ideal for hiking boots and losing yourself for a few morning hours before normall life resumes!

Although the internet broadband access in the room was fast, I though £20 for 24 hours was a little on the pricey side. Having said that, at least the parking is free.
